Settei Rules

These are the rules for how you can trade for, purchase copies of the sheets on this site or even request that I look to acquire sheets from a certain series.  Please read them before e-mailing me about settei.  Thank you

Trading

If you have settei from a series that I do not have (or sheets that I don't have from a series that I do have) we can set up a trade.
There are two options for trades: Having done business with me before or Never having done business with me.

Option 1: If you have done business with me in the past, then we will send out the settei at the same time, using the same shipping style.  For digital trades we exchange zip files.

Option 2: For anyone that I have not done business with before, you either have to send your settei copies first (either digitally or physicaly).  Otherwise I will not trade with you.  Sorry I have been burned in the past from doing trades before, so this is how I will avoid that scenario.
If I initiate the trade, then I will offer you the courtesy of sending first for first time trades.

I can trade digital with you, but only if your images are of the same quality as what I send you (600 DPI for all but X, Hamtaro or the BSSM Material collection pads, which are 300DPI).  They also must be saved in a lossless format, like png, bmp, tif, or the equivalent (super low compression jpg might be OK, but you would have to send me a sample sheet to verify the quality).  They also must be all saved at 100% size, not reduced in size.

Examples are as follows:
300DPI grayscale/B&W (as a jpg - Hamtaro title sheets)
600DPI full size grayscale/B&W
(png Vandread title sheet)
600DPI full color (note, this is a LQ sheet I received in a trade, which is why I chose it for the example. All the rest of my sheets are of higher quality)
600DPI partial color
(png) - normal quality (from Samurai Harem)
Sorry that Hamtaro, X 1999, and the Sailor Moon material collection pads can only be traded in 300 DPI at this time

Purchasing

You can either get all the settei from a set or series, or you can mix and match by the individual sheets that you want.  You automatically get the digital version of your sheets if you make any physical perchase.  I ask that you specify if you want physical or digital only sheets when ordering.  With digital orders, it is recommended to print the sheets on on the same size paper that they were originally to avoid distortion.

For the whole series, please ask, as it will be slightly cheaper then getting the individual sets (unless it only has one set, then it is the set price).

For purchasing by set, the set price will be at the top of it's preview pictures page with all its details (# of sheets, size of the paper it is on, etc.).

For individual grayscale or black and white sheets, the cost is $0.40/page (A4, Letter and Legal sizes). If they are oversized pages then they are based on the size of the sheet that needs to be copied (usually $1-$2) .  If you only want the digital version, then it is only $0.25 per sheet.

For individual color pages are $0.75/page (more if oversized). If you only want the digital version, then it is only $0.50 per sheet.  Color sheets do not seem to print out nice like the grayscale and black and white ones do at least in my experience (if you have a really good printer, then you may be able to get them to print out fine).

If 500 sheets are ordered, then the maximum cost is $300, regardless of what is ordered (does not include any series over 500 sheets, or oversized sheets). So every 500 sheets at most adds $300 (unless excluded as mentioned before), meaning that at 1000 sheets, the max price is $600 and so on.  This is applied in groups of 500 only and any that exceed this will be accounted for normally.

Note: For any series/set title in Burgundy, the Studio set is for sale or has been sold.  I can only sell the a copy of the studio set digitally if it has been sold.

Shipping Options:

Domestic Shipping will be through the USPS for any US purchase via Priority Mail.  I will send them flat rate and the packaging depends on how many sheets here are (I can fit around 180 sheets of A4 or Letter sized paper in a flat rate Legal size envelope and I can fit close to 800 sheets in a medium flat rate box (weighs almost 10lbs with 800 sheets, so be careful)).   If more than 800 sheets, then I will have to see if they fit in a large flat rate box or if they have to be mailed in more than one box.   I insure all orders in the US and will make sure you have the tracking number (if you pay through paypal then paypal will automatically give you the tracking when I print the shipping label through them).  I can mail them through Express Mail, though it will cost more.

International Shipping (outside the US) will use International Priority Mail or Express Mail International. I usually use the Priority flat rate boxes to save on shipping (I can mail then through Express Mail International if desired.   For international orders, the customs number tends to be the only tracking option. I have no control over how expensive it is to ship overseas now.  I suggest that you get the digital only to save you some money.

Please e-mail me for all shipping costs prior to sending any payment!  Please state in your e-mail your zip code (or country if outside the US), and which settei set(s)/sheet(s) that you want.  I will e-mail you with the approximate shipping costs when a request is made for the sheets, and payment is through Paypal (who sometimes gives shipping discounts in which case I can refund you the difference).

If you are worried about my credibility, I can always place it on E-bay for you, but that will raise the price by 10% to cover the fees. (See my E-bay auctions here)  I have over 4700unique Positive feedback!

Requests

I can search for a particular series that you are interested in or I can look for more sets from a series I already have.  These are the guidelines and possible costs for requesting a series:
  1. I can search for the series on Japanese auctions sites.  As long as the price does not go too high, then there is no down payment for series that I am interested in (see my wish list for series I am currently interested in acquiring).  If I find the series, then I will tell you how much the opening bid is, the approximate number of sheets and how high I am willing to bid on the auction.  If you want the series and wish me to bid higher, then you will have to pay for the difference between my max bid and whatever you set as the highest price you with to have me bidIf you choose to have me bid higher then what I would normally bid, you have to pay in advance the amount you are willing to go up to (you will get a refund if the auction is not won, or for any amount that doesn't use that max bid).  When you pay for part of acquiring the set, then you will get a copy of the set (in full color if the set is in color) for a reduced price (depending how high the auction goes, this 'cost' may end up only being shipping it to you).  If you wish to have the Set that is purchased from Japan (usually a Studio Set), then you will have to pay the full price for the set plus all shipping costs from Japan (it can get expensive real fast as these are heavy) and the shipping to you.  I cannot have it mailed directly to you from Japan due to the intermediary I have to go through to acquire these sheets.
  2. If I am NOT interested  in it, then I can search for the series on Japanese auctions sites (or you can send me the link to the auction you want).  If I find the series, then I will tell you how much the opening bid is, the approximate number of sheets are offered (and send you a link to that auction).  If you want the series and wish me to bid on it, then you will have to pay for the max bid you set to have me bidYou have to pay in advance the amount you are willing to go up to (you will get a refund if the auction is not won, or for any amount that doesn't use that max bid).  If you do NOT wish to pay for shipping from Japan, then you will get a copy of the set (in full color if the set is in color) for the price you paid for the auction.  If you wish to have the studio set (or whatever it is that the auction has), then you will have to pay the full price for the set plus shipping costs from Japan (it can get expensive real fast as these are heavy) and the shipping to you.  I cannot have it mailed directly to you from Japan due to the intermediary I have to go through to acquire these sheets.
  3. you can give suggestions of series you would like to see that I may or may not pick up depending on what I run across or if it looks interesting.  In this case, you don't have to pay anything (I add it to the requested series list on the coming soon page), but I don't know if I will run across it or get it if I do (in which case you can order it normally).  This is basically the option of letting me know people are really interested in X series.  If I get too many of these, then I may have to stop taking them.

If I am only acting as intermediary for you to get the set as is from Japan, then I will take my 'payment' for doing so as a digital copy of the set (as long as its not bound), as I am not adding any handling fee to your requests.

I cannot guarantee that I can get any series for you (nor what characters will be in it), and if it turns out that I could not get you the series, then I will give you a full refund.  Otherwise, all sales are final.

Sorry I have to ask for an advance payment, but I have no way of having you pay for something you asked me to get once I have committed to purchasing the set from Japan (and these get expensive real fast).  This is to keep me from having someone say they will bid to X amount, and then have them not pay once the auction is won.  For your protection, any costs associated with requesting sheets can only be conducted through Paypal.

Note:  Shipping options from Japan are Surface Mail (2-3 months, but cheapest), Sal Mail (usually 1-2 months, but costs more than Surface mail), Air Mail (can take up to 1 month, costs more than Sal, though normally not by much), and EMS (within 2weeks, normally takes 1, very expensive, though the safest shipping method).  Also realize that the sheets have to be shipped to the intermediary first, and then to me, so that does add some extra transit time cost.
