Fire Emblem Series 6: Akaneia no Eiyuu - Heroes of Akaneia

    These are the trading cards from the seventh released series, アカネイアの英雄 [Akaneia no Eiyuu].  The title is broken down into 2 kanji, 1 hiragana, and 5 katakana characters.  The kanji 英 [Hana or ei] can be read as flower, though sometimes it can mean hero, brave or England, and the kanji 雄 [yuu] can be read as manly, hero, or man of a species.  When placed together, 英雄 [えいゆう eiyuu] reads as hero.  The Hiragana の [no] can be translated as a possessive 'of' in this instance.  So put together, the title can be hero of Akaneia or heroes of Akaneia.   These cards are all from the first and third game, Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi and Monshō no Nazo (and by extension, the remake 11th game, Shadow Dragon and Sword of Light).  All of the cards are shown on this page, along with scans of the box and inserts for this series. It was released on December 10, 2004. Like the previous series, the rarity is based on the number of stars shown on the card (** = rare, *=uncommon, no stars = common).
This series introduces anther type of card S***= super rare.  These cards randomly take the place of a common card (~1:8 to 1:10 chance)
